Animal Magic: Johnny Morris in the Sudan

on BBC One London

In this week's programme Johnny Morris looks at the Sudan - its domestic and wild animals.
The name of the country is about the only thing the average person is familiar with, and this is due almost entirely to one episode in its history-'Gordon of Khartoum.'
The Sudan is the largest country in Africa; temperatures vary from hot to very hot! But the surprising fact is that the variety of animals found in the wildlife reserves are as wide-ranging as those' in the better-known reserves of East Africa.
