This month's Foreign Review consists of three contributions. First a report by Christopher Hill , Fellow of Balliol College, Oxford, on the teaching of English history in the U.S.S.R. Mr. Hill, himself a Marxist, has recently returned from Russia where he met a number of leading Soviet historians. The other two contributions are a comment by A. Fernandez Cruz on the scientific aspects of increasing age; and a talk by Martin Cooper , with musical illustrations, en the Tenth Symphony of Shostakovich, which has not yet been heard in this country.
