Burghley Horse Trials

on BBC One London

Highlights of the speed and endurance phase and coverage of today's final section, the show jumping.
Raymond Brooks-Ward traces the fluctuating fortunes of a record entry of riders and horses from ten countries who tackled the spectacular 4 1/2-mile cross-country course yesterday. Only those horses completely sound in wind and limb will be allowed to compete this afternoon for the chance to win the event regarded as one of the world's greatest tests of equestrianism.
Organised by the British Horse Society in association with the TI Group.
