Tommy Handley presents his monthly problem, this time with Sidney Keith ('Sam Scram'). Also providing specially recorded problems for this contest are Albert Sandler, William Hickey, Harry Roy, Edward Cooper, and Doris Hare, with Debroy Somers and his Band
The programme is arranged by Audrey Cameron and presented by Ronald Waldman in aid of the Red Cross Penny-a-Week Fund. The entire entry fees are devoted to the Fund.
The last day for posting your entries is
Thursday, July 1, and the address is : [address removed].
The results of this contest will be announced after the six o'clock news bulletin on Sunday, July 18, and also in the Radio Times published on July 23.
The twelve correct answers to problems in the Red Cross Radio Contest broadcast on May 29 and 31 were: BACC— CBAB— ACBB
The £250 in prize-money has been shared between the following three listeners, from whom a correct entry was received, and each of them receives a cheque for £83 6s. 8d. : R. Hibbert , [address removed]; G. T. Meredith, [address removed] ; Mrs. M. Taylor, [address removed].
