The Great North Run Live coverage from Tyneside of the Great North Run. Celebrating the race's 20th anniversary the half-marathon's organisers have accepted 50,000 entries to run from Newcastle to South Shields.
Among those taking part are many world class athletes. With commentary from
Brendan Foster , Steve Cram and David Coleman. Highlights are shown Tuesday at 1.30pm on BBC2. Executive producer Martin Webster
