The ' Schubertiaden ' were social gatherings organised at private houses in Vienna for the purpose of performing Schubert's music. Listeners may recall our previous programmes of a similar nature, when we attempted to promote a kind of Schubertiade of our own, and tonight we shall do so again on rather different lines, presenting some further examples of the composer's genius.
