THE FUTURE OF BRITISH EXPORTS

on Third Programme

View in Radio Times

Talk by Austen Albu , M.P.
Basically there are three possible things that Britain can export-brains, craftsmanship, and brawn. In seeking the export policy most likely to improve our economic position it is vital to decide on which of these three production components emphasis should be placed. Mr. Albu, Member of Parliament for Edmonton (Labour), discusses this question with the knowledge gained as an engineer and during his years as a works manager added to his parliamentary experience.
