by ALEXANDER TARASOV RODYONOV dramatised by PETER THOMSON with and 1918: the Russian Civil War. A ballerina is arrested and brought to Zudin, head of the local Cheka - the Bolshevik secret police. He ought to have her shot but takes pity on her with fateful consequences.
Tarasov-Rodyonov was himself arrested in 1937 and disappeared into Stalin's death camps. Chocolate was used in evidence against him.
