Kama, or the Third Way
An invention by FRANCIS WATSON derived from the Kama Sutra of Vatsyayana According to Hindu tradition, man's existence was to be fulfilled in the harmony of three purposive activities: Dharma, the life of religious obligation: Artha, the life of material gain and social polity; and Kama, the life of well-ordered sensual enjoyment.
