News Summary; Mrs. Dale's Diary

on Light Programme

Mrs. Dale, the doctor's wife, records the daily happenings in the life of her family
Script by Robert Turley
Productions by Betty Davies and Keri Lewis

Richard Fulton, depressed by the bad notices of his play, decided to accept an invitation he had received to go on a lecture tour of Canada. Annette said she would like to go with him, and Sally was upset. Joanna's baby was born: it was a girl. In the raffle in aid of the World Refugee Year Mrs. Freeman won the refrigerator and Dr. Dale the year's free weekly wash: Dr. Dale returned his prize, but Mrs. Freeman firmly ignored hints that she should send back hers. Todhunter proposed to Yvonne, who worked at the fish shop, and immediately found himself involved in preparations for the wedding.
