Gray Lady Down

on BBC One London

Starring

Stacy Keach and Christopher Reeve. On a homeward journey in the inhospitable North Atlantic, the US nuclear submarine Neptune collides with a Norwegian freighter. Its hull ripped open, the Neptune sinks to the crushing depth of 1500ft and comes to rest precariously on the crumbling ledge of an ocean canyon.
Miraculously, 42 crew members have survived, but with only 48 hours of oxygen left, help seems a long way away.
