The 8.15 from Manchester

on BBC One London

The lively youth magazine.
Ross King and Charlotte Hindle whack on their water-skis when The 8.15 from Manchester visits the stars at Splash for Starlight, the charity event organised to raise money for terminally ill children, which takes place at Bedfont in Middlesex. Television presenter Phillip Schofield Radio 1 DJ Gary Davies, pop group Big Fun and singers Sonia and Kim Wilde will be among those helping to make young dreams come true. Back in the studio there's music from Candy Flip and the rhythms of rap in Rapattack. And on the other side of the track? Ramblin' Ron Freethy, the show's wildlife expert, takes a walk on the wild side.
