'The Mine at Moose River '
Written by Bob Kesten
Produced by Alan Burgess
It was Easter Sunday evening in April 1936 when three men went down to inspect the recently re-opened goldmine at Moose River in Nova Scotia. Shortly before midnight the mine collapsed. For over a week it was not known whether the men were dead or alive. However, racing desperately against time, rescue workers continued their frantic efforts to reach them.
