The Last Supper rln Harrison Birtwistle 's new opera, or rathera hybrid of opera and oratorio, Ghost - a representation of both the Holy Spirit and Greek chorus - invites Jesus and his disciples to a supper in a contemporary setting. Birtwistle and his librettist Robin Blaser offer a reflection on what has been done, both positively and negatively, in the name of Christ over the last 2000 years.
