Composer of the Week: Buxtehude

In 1667 came Buxtehude's opportunity: the chance to audition for the organist's post at St Mary's Church in Liibeck. He remained there for 40 years, composing and performing the greatest organ and choral music of the day. Donald Macleod discovers what life was like in 17th-century Lubeck.
