SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
SYLVIA NELIS (Soprano) ; KENNETH Ellis
(Baritone): MARJORIE HAYWARD (Violin); FREDERICK B. KIDDLE (Organ)
AS a boy, Mozart was a wonderful pianist; as a youth, he was a capable violinist.
This Concerto, with five others, is a relic of the period when he was particularly interested in the Violin.
It is in three Movements : (I) A Quick Movement prefaced by a slow Introduction ; (2) an expressive Slow Movement; (3) a piece in the character of a Minuet.
