Reading from his own Autobiographical poem
' Young Blood'
SIR GEORGE HENSCHEL first appeared as a singer when he was only nine years old, and as a pianist three years later. ' Young Blood,' the poem which he is reading this evening, is a description of his own early -years, very lively and amusing, written in doggerel.
