A programme for children under five
Among our listeners is a small boy of two-and-a-quartcr years of whom his mother wrote, 'The other day he wanted the lady to come out of the wireless, and when I explained that this was not possible, he said: " We will make a door into the wireless and then she can come out." '
Happily, our small listeners may rest assured that wherever the bodies of their ladies-and gentlemen-may be, their voiees will come to them as usual this week from the ̒wireless.̓ Today and on Thursday the voice will be Daphne Oxenford 's telling about ' Two little frogs in search of a house ' by Dorothy Wise , and ' Dan Pig ,' by Peggy Worvil. Tomorrow and on Thursday it will be that of Julia Lang , and the stories, ̒̒There was once a boy,' by Diana Ross , and 'David and the Little Green Train,' by Molly Craven. Friday's storyteller wiu be Dorothy Smith with A Surprise for Granny,' by Joan Robinson.
