A miniature sound portrait compiled and presented by Robin Gracey
The primary school at Elsing in Norfolk is 100 years old. Today's planners schedule it for closure. Recordings of pupils and teachers, past and present, from the ages of five to 95, are here brought together to convey something of what the school is and has been. Special sound by BILL AITKEN BBC Radiophonic Workshop Producer MICHAEL MASON
