Afterfighting in the liberation war against Pakistan, British-trained doctor Quam Zahman wanted to do something to help the millions of people in Bangladesh who are living below the poverty line. Healthcare is not free, so even though dysentery, diabetes and arsenic poisoning are rife, manygo untreated.
