On Tuesday morning, a 12-foot leopard will appear on the corner of Cannon Street in the City of London. The bronze statue will be unveiled by the Lord Mayor. The work of the sculptor Jonathan Kenworthy , it took two years to complete. Anthony Smith traces the creature's development from drawings through plaster casts to the finished bronze.
