Screen Goddesses: Mae West: She Done Him Wrong

The third in a season of films featuring some of the screen's most celebrated femmes fatales
also starring Cary Grant, Owen Moore

"She Done Him Wrong" is based on Mae West's own notorious stage play "Diamond Lil", in which she made her name. Cast as the star performer in a notorious Bowery beer-hall in the gay 90s, Mae West outraged censors and horrified moralists of the day with her portrayal of a very 'liberated' woman.
