Boy Meets Girl: Where have all the Ghosts Gone?

on BBC One London

by David Campton
starring Diana Dors as Megan Norton-Grey
with Ray Brooks as Clive, Marty Cruickshank as Sally, Robert James as the Doctor

Megan Norton-Grey, a hard-bitten alcoholic widow, blames her daughter Sally for the death of her husband, who was killed in a car crash when Sally was only seven years old.
Sally is now in her late teens and living in semi-isolation with her mother. Then she meets a young man, Clive, and falls in love with him. Her mother opposes the relationship forcefully, and at times hysterically, but to no avail...
Diana Dors, making one of her rare acting appearances on television, stars as Megan, and Marty Cruickshank, daughter of Andrew Cruickshank of Dr. Finlay fame, plays Sally. Ray Brooks, who starred in one of the most successful of the last Boy Meets Girl series, The Raging Moon, plays Clive.
