Ancestral home of the Marlborough family, the palace was built as a reward from Queen Anne in recognition of the first Duke's famous victory at the Battle of Blenheim in 1704. Among its attractions is an exhibition dedicated to the memory of Sir
Winston Churchill, who was born there in 1874.
