Russia and the Czech Republic make theirdebut in this year's tournament followingthe break-up of the USSR and Czechoslovakia - both former
European champions. Italy and Germany are two of the tournament's favourites - with six World Cup and three European Championship titles between them - and tonight's clash at Old Trafford is a repeat of the World Cup final, which Italy won 3-1.
Tonight's programme also features action from the two concluding games in Group D, played earliertoday:
Croatia v Portugal, at the City Ground, Nottingham, and Turkey v Denmark at Hillsborough, Sheffield.
