From the Parish Church, Rogate, Sussex. Conducted by the Vicar, the Rev. Kenneth Mathews
Christ's work of heating and teaching had aroused the hostility of the religious and political leaders, and the people had begun to lose interest in him. A plot against his life was already being hatched. So he withdrew for a while from his public ministry and spent some time concentrating all his teaching and training on his twelve Apostles. Today's broadcast shows how this period of intensive training reached its climax at Caesarea Philippi, when for the first time his Apostles began to realise who he reaUy was and what he was calling them to do.
