Fostering and Adoption
Caring for someone else s child is a responsibility most of us shy away from - even for a few days or weeks. But that s what foster parents choose to do. And many of them go on to eventually adopt the child. There are thousands of children in local authority care who need foster or adoptive parents. But what exactly does the work involve? What are the legal implications? And how can we find out about this worthwhile task?
