Richard Balcombe conducts the BBC Concert Orchestra in a programme showcasing John Williams 's Oscar-winning score, with tuba soloist Ben Thomson. Plus sympathetically themed pieces by Sibelius, Holst and Richard Strauss , film music from ET the Extra-Terrestial (Williams) and Apollo 13 (James Horner ), and Joe Meek 's Telstar.
