Geoffrey Baskerville introduces works by composers who were in Paris in 1750. Today, an excerpt from Leclair's only opera, a solitary bassoonist, and La Marseillaise as arranged after the French Revolution by the 66-year-old Balbastre on the organ of the deconsecrated Notre Dame.
