The Late Film: Paris Blues

This dark film takes place in the night world of Paris jazz clubs and the meetings of an ex-patnot trombonist (Paul Newman) and an American divorcee (Joanne Woodward) and a saxophonist (Sidney Poitier) and Connie (Diahann Carroll). Their romances are set in picturesque quarters of the city, with the jazz of Duke Ellington providing the music.
