'It's all about you, the Great British public', says
Derek Jameson. For the next 13 weeks he'll be joined by reporters Jeni Barnett , Lucy Pilkington and Chris Serle , who are scouring the nation's byways for the best stories. Jeni meets the 21-year-old who's become a millionaire in just 18 months. What's his secret? Chris visits a Skye boatman who wants to retire but can't find a suitable replacement. Chris has a go at steering his ferry, much to the dismay of the locals. And guest reporter Nick Ross asks - whatever happened to Gina? ... the London junkie he filmed ten years ago. He finds her in Norfolk where her life is very different.
As for Derek, he's out and about.... visiting the best club in Britain, where membership is free. He asks the people there what he's asking the rest of us: 'Hope and Glory! What's your story?' Write and tell Derek at:
