CARINA STANDEN has an honours degree in philosophy, and. at the age of 36. is training to be a solicitor. Nothing remarkable in that, you may say. But Carina is blind, partially deaf and physically handicapped. Until she was 27 she was regarded as unemployable and incapable of achievement. She talks to Helen Lloyd about the fight to overcome her disabilities.
