Grey Ash. "
A One-Act Play by Leonora Thornber.
Characters :
The scene is a comfortably furnished drawing-room of a remote Downland cottage, about four o'clock on a mid-winter afternoon. From an overhead room comes the sound of a violin player, practising exercises and melodies alternately. In this setting is unfolded a weird legend connected with the old violin and the strange and thrilling fulfilment of the story in modern days.
