THIS is the first of three talks on organs by Mr. H. Moreton. who brings the knowledge and study of a lifetime to bear upon the subject. Mr. Moreton's career as an organist began when he was seven. When only ten years old he was appointed Organist of Stoke Dameral Parish Church. Devonport. For the past forty-two years he has been organist of Plymouth Parish Church (St. Andrew's) which has the largest Parish Church Choir in the kingdom. Also Mr. Moreton has done remarkable work as Borough Organist of Plymouth—an appointment which he has held for the last twenty-six years.
