The final part covers the 70s up to the present day. Leo Fender and his partner Don Randall sold their company to CBS in 1965. Production emphasis shifted from quality to quantity and sales slumped, until an unknown guitarist from Seattle astonished people with his amazing guitar playing. Jimi Hendrix did things with a Stratocaster that had never been done before with any guitar.
