For the first time in its 70-year history, the ISCM World Music Days took place in Mexico in September last year.
Michael Rnnissy , the ISCM chair, gave a multi-national recital of piano works there, and in this programme he plays a selection of those pieces, interspersed with quartets and percussion music by Conlon Nancarrow , James Wood and Xenakis.
