A comedy and a philosophy by BERNARD and John Tanner finds himself entrapped by the wiles of a very vital ' new woman Ann Whitefield. The loquacious Tanner is also the mouthpiece for many aspects of Shaw's own ' philosophy not only on the relationship between men and women and the enslavement of marriage but on society in general.
