The first in a season of films starring the legendary Hollywood hero, with Basil Rathbone, David Niven, Donald Crisp
Captain Courtney is one of the Royal Flying Corps' ace pilots during World War I. Together with Lieutenant Scott, he is also a hard-drinking hell-raiser, whose favourite chorus runs 'Hurrah for the next man who dies.' But when Courtney becomes Commanding Officer, he sees the war in a different light.
