Ronald Mann. an eighteen-year-old Nottingham apprentice who playis as a part-time professional footballer for Notts County, visits his first big fight and sees something of the organisation behind the scenes. He meets Dave Sands and Duggie Miller , who top the bill. and some of the sporting personalities who are in Birmingham for the ' Big Fight'
