The Vienna Boys Choir

on BBC One London

Introduced by Michael Flanders
Conducted by Anton Neyder
sing:
The Tritsch-Tratsch Polka
The Blue Danube
Three Austrian Folk Songs
Wiegenlied
Pueri Concinite
and traditional Christmas Carols

There are several groups of Vienna Boys all drawn from the same choir school. One is always on holiday, while one or more tours the world.
And one is on duty each Sunday at the Imperial Chapel in Vienna, as it has been since the choir was founded by special decree of Emperor Maximilian I on 7 July 1498.
