The pace-setting adventure programme returns for a new series
starring Ben Gazzara as Paul Bryan, a man with no ties and no time to spare

Paul meets an unusual girl on a bus journey in the middle of dust-covered nowhere. Her jeans, outsize cowboy boots and battered guitar don't seem to go with her angel-face and it is soon clear that she is more than just an unconventional drifter. Her reticence both intrigues and maddens Paul, and her behaviour is either highly alarming or disarmingly sweet. In the end it is only by luck that Paul finds out the truth and finally takes leave of a girl who is still something of an enigma, but happier.
