Sudden Death Syndrome is an umbrella term for the many different causes of cardiac arrest in the young and healthy. Among those that have fallen victim to it are Laura Moss, a 13-year-old in the British swimming squad for the Sydney Olympics, and Cormac McAnallen, who was just 24 when he died suddenly in his sleep. In his short life Cormac had won every GAA sporting honour going. Audrey Carville speaks to his parents about their loss and about the questions they're still asking about the condition that took their son from them.
