Who is moving into contention in continuing live coverage of the third day's play at St Andrews ?
The world's oldest and most
Prestigious golf tournament attracted a record 2,499 entries this year, with this being its 28th staging at the famous Old Course. On the last occasion, in 2000, the winner was Tiger Woods.
The American started favourite this year, but the tough course's exposed position on Scotland's east coast makes it a testing examination for even the elite.
At the same stage last year, little-known Todd Hamilton of the US belied his world ranking of 56 to open up a narrow one-shot lead with a second straight round of 67. Breathing down his neck at Royal Troon were the intimidating trio of Ernie Els , Phil Mickelson and Retief Goosen.
