Tonight, youth makes its contribution to this series.
Kenneth A. Robinson is a seventeen-year-old schoolboy of Blaydon, County Durham, and an enthusiastic collector of gramophone records. He also plays first violin in the senior orchestra of the Newcastle Royal Grammar School, which has attracted national attention for its work in music. Three hundred boys are learning to play musical instruments, and more than two hundred are members of its various orchestras. The senior orchestra gave two broadcasts last year.
