MRS. DALE'S DIARY

on Light Programme

Script by Robert Turley
Repeated on Tuesday at 11.15 a.m.
Mrs. Dale writes:
Mother and Vicky have signed the agreement to take Johnnie Harvill into partnership in the antique shop. Sally is concerned, but I think Mother knows what she's doing-he's a nice young man. Mother was very impressed by Lionel Smithson , a young coloured doctor from the West Indies, who wants the job as Jim's locum-he called when we were aU out, so only Mother has seen him. Grandfather Dale has heard about Alec-I hope he wasn't too badly hit, poor old man.
