The story of how it took one man 20 years and his horse 12 years to win the Grand National.
The man is Raymond Guest , former is Ambassador in Dublin, a racehorse owner who, although he had won the Derby, lived only for success in the world's greatest steeplechase. The horse is L'Escargot. He fell at Aintree in 1972, was third in 1973, second in 1974, and won last year. Narrator JULIAN WILSON
