A series in which current and controversial issues are put on trial before Dick Taverne , QC. and an audience of jurors in Broadcasting House, London. Tonight's motion:
Britain Should Have a Written Constitution
It is proposed by Andrew Phillips and opposed by R. Alun Jones
Each advocate calls supporting witnesses who are questioned by each protagonist. The jury vote at the beginning and the end of the trial so that any swing of opinion may be measured and a verdict reached.
