Verity Sharp presents a week of programmes launching BBC Radio 3's New Generation Artists scheme, featuring and profiling some of the most brilliant artists of tomorrow.
Today's programme includes the British-based Belcea Quartet, recent winners of the Osaka String Quartet competition; Welsh flautist Emily Beynon, now principal flute of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra; baritone Christopher Maltman, winner of the Lieder Prize at the Cardiff Singer of the World competition; and the English pianist Paul Lewis.
