' Fun Fare, Old Belfast
Entertainments'
William Moore
Blondin, the tight-rope walker,
Tommy Burns , the high-diver, and Houdini, who could escape from almost anything, are only names to the younger generation. In the past, however, they meant as much to their admiring public as Robert Taylor or Clark Gable do to their admirers today.
William Moore , contributing to this series tonight, tells of the entertainments that thrilled Belfast thirty, forty, and fifty years ago. His talk will revive memories for the older listeners, and offer some interesting comparisons for the younger.
