A review of recent literature on Church relations in England by H. G. Wood
Dr. Wood gives an account of the origins of the modern movement towards reunion and the reasons for its growth. He reviews a number of books and pamphlets (published in the last four years) inspired by a sermon preached at Cambridge in 1946 by the Archbishop of Canterbury. Among the books reviewed are Problems of Reunion by Dr. A. E. J. Rawlinson , Bishop of Derby, and three reports by Committees of the Churches: Catholicity, The Catholicity of Protestantism, and Church Relations in England.
